Seat Maker by Austin Frankel

Delete your account

Whether you wrapped up your wedding, your event is over, or you just want a clean slate, you can remove your Seat Maker account and everything tied to it. Here’s how.

The fastest way: from the app

If you can still open Seat Maker on your iPhone or iPad, this takes about 15 seconds:

  1. Open Seat Maker.
  2. Tap the gear icon to open Settings.
  3. Choose Account.
  4. Tap Delete All Data and confirm.

That one tap removes your account, your saved seating charts, and the local copy on the device. You don’t need to do anything else.

Can’t open the app? Ask us instead

Fill in the short form below using the email you signed in with. We’ll confirm it’s really you and remove the account within 30 days. You’ll get an email from us when it’s done.

Sending this opens your email app with the request already typed out. Prefer to write us directly? Email tablemakercontact@gmail.com from the same address you signed in with.

What gets deleted

  • Your Seat Maker account and sign-in
  • Every seating chart, table, and guest you saved to your account
  • Your name, profile, and any onboarding answers we have on file
  • Push notification subscriptions tied to your account
  • Public share links you created from the app
  • Local copies on every device the next time the app signs you out

What stays, and for how long

  • Anonymous, aggregated usage stats that can't be traced back to you (kept by our analytics providers for up to 14 months, crash logs up to 90 days)
  • Anonymized feedback you sent through the in-app form (so we can still act on bug reports without knowing who you are)
  • Payment receipts that Apple and Google keep under their own policies — Seat Maker never sees or stores card data

How long it takes

We process every deletion within 30 days of receiving the request. After that, our backups rotate out within another 90 days, so within roughly four months no copy of your account remains on our systems.
